REMOVING AND INSERTING BATTERIES: 1. make sure the device is switched off. 2. use a universal screwdriver to remove the screw securing the battery compartment cover. 3. Remove used batteries. 4. Insert the 4 x 1.5V AA/LR6 batteries according to the polarity marking on the compartment. 5. batteries should be inserted by an adult. 6. close the compartment cover and tighten the screw. 7. make sure the unit is operational.
